Charms

Charms is a core class and subject taught at Eaglesclaw School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Unsurprisingly, it specialises in the teaching of charms. Mastering the science of charmwork is essential to performing the greater part of magic.

Charms teaches spells that add certain properties to an object or creature. Charms are distinguished from transfigurations in that a charm adds or changes properties of an object. It focuses on altering what the object does as opposed to what the object is. Professor Adelaide Bloxam will teach students about how different charms work, demonstrate a magical potion, and instruct students in how to make a token charm to take home.
